Silver Lake’s proximity to downtown L.A. and stylish mentality makes it attractive to artists, bohemians, and fashionable families.  This area of Los Angeles is named for the manmade reservoir at the heart of the neighborhood.  A two-mile stroll around the reservoir gives great views of the bungalows, as well as a few Richard Neutra houses tucked into the Silver Lake Hills.
